What? National Day of Prayer

When? Noon, Thursday, May 7, 2015

Where? Henry County Courthouse (and other venues across America)

Why? II Chronicles 7:14 – “If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

This will be the 64th annual National Day of Prayer. For the past several years, my father, Bill Moody, has served as the NDP Task Force volunteer for our area. With an intense passion for our country and a sincere desire to see revival come to our land, my dad has diligently coordinated this prayer event. Referring to the materials that he receives from the NDP chairman, Mrs. Shirley Dobson, my dad prayerfully develops an agenda, and then he invites various men and women to lead in prayer. It is always an impacting assembly for those in attendance.

I want to encourage you to make this hour of prayer a priority. Of course, there are conflicts and responsibilities that prohibit some folks from gathering at the courthouse, but everyone can enter into a time of prayer regardless of their whereabouts. Please, I urge you. Please make a note of this upcoming prayer time, and then commit to going before the Lord with the needs of our country during this designated hour of prayer. The state of our country is in the balance. America is facing attack like never before. Our Christian values are being compromised, and America is in desperate need of a spiritual awakening. Please, my friend, unite with me and countless others in observing this call to prayer (and if you are able, please join us at the courthouse).
